3M™ Sof-Lex™ Finishing and Polishing Strips are designed to help prevent interproximal plaque buildup for superior finishing and polishing results.

3M™ Sof-Lex™ Finishing and Polishing Strips are an easy-to-use, colour-coded system designed to simplify your finishing and polishing procedures. The 3M™ Sof-Lex™ Strips are gapped at their centres for easy interproximal insertion. They are also precision-coated with an aluminium-oxide grit to produce a smooth restoration surface that helps prevent interproximal plaque build up. The 3M™ Sof-Lex™ Strip system, because of the thin, flexible backing and center gapped abrasive can be successfully and safely used near the gingival, and in interproximal areas having tight contacts. By incorporating two abrasive grits per 3M™ Sof-Lex™ Strip, the finishing and polishing of a restoration requires fewer steps. Use of this total 3M™ Sof-Lex™ System will assure a final polish equal to or better than natural dentition.
