3M™ Electrical Filament Tape 1076, paper core, is made of an electrical-grade paper backing, reinforced with scrim glass filaments and an oil-compatible acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive.
3M™ Tape 1076 has paper backing that offers complete saturation to reduce the potential of voids. The unique coating on this tape supports excellent bonding with diamond paper, insulation epoxy during the transformer baking process. It withstands a temperature range of 40 to 221 °F ( 40 to 105 °C) and it provides stiffness for excellent handling during coil winding operations. RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant .
