3M™ Tripolarized Wiremount Socket 820 Series is an IDC socket connector that brings durability and reliability to wire-to-board connecting applications. With its tripolarization feature, it helps prevent damage when mating to 3M™ 4-Wall Tripolarized Header 810 Series.
Measuring at 50 mil x 100 mil, the compact size of this 3M ribbon cable connector makes it half the length of traditional connectors, saving valuable space. The beryllium copper alloy contacts provide excellent strength and reliability, helping ensure a secure connection. Featuring a metal cover latch and metal strain relief, this connector offers positive cover retention and increased durability. It is great for ribbon cable applications and utilizes IDC termination for easy and efficient installation. It is insulated with gray glass-filled polyester (PBT) material for added protection and is UL 94V-0 rated, China RoHS and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.
