The Scotch-Brite™ General Purpose Scuff Sponge is ideal for hand scuffing of auto, marine, or aircraft surfaces, and gets at awkward areas such as door shuts, bumpers or panel edging. Use it for cleaning, rust removal, and spot repairs in clearcoat and paint systems. Scotch-Brite material is a fantastic alternative to steel wool and can be used dry or with water or solvents without rusting.

A Scotch Brite™ General Purpose Scuff Sponge is a handy addition to any surface restoration kit. We laminated both sides of the yellow sponge with Scotch Brite™ non woven material for extra sturdiness and extended use. Designed with aluminum oxide abrasive distributed throughout a durable, three dimensional nylon web, our Scuff Sponge resists tearing, shredding and loading to deliver a fast cut and long life. The sponge can be used and washed repeatedly to scuff paint or other coatings and get rid of rust and other surface contaminants.
