3M™ Secondary Liner 4988 is a tan-colored, polycoated kraft liner with a release coating on one side. The 6.4 mil, 85 lb. PCK paper liner is designed to provide added strength and moisture stability as well as resist wrinkling and curling. This secondary liner is used for single and double sided tapes and for applications requiring excellent layflat, such as selective die-cutting.

Constructed for Strength and Moisture Stability 3M™ Secondary Liner 4988 is designed for applications requiring added strength and stability with the conformity of paper. It is a 6.4 mil, 85 lb. polycoated kraft liner with a silicone release coating on the gloss side. This coating offers medium-low release for easy removal of the liner. The moisture-stable liner stores well and resists wrinkling and curling, making it good for single and double sided tapes in applications requiring excellent layflat, including processes such as selective die-cutting.
