For edging and hole reinforcing, use 3M™ Edging and Reinforcing Tape 8411. This tape features excellent tensile strength when applied to papers and films. It is coated with an acrylic adhesive that bonds permanently without yellowing.
3M™ Edging and Reinforcing Tape 8411 (PDF, 9.62 Kb) is a thin, abrasion resistant polyester film tape that features excellent tensile strength. The transparent backing is tear resistant, while the acrylic adhesive adheres to a wide range of substrates. This tape resists yellowing over time and excels in permanent protection applications. With good chemical resistance and transparency, this tape works effectively for label protection to a variety of chemicals and solvents.
