We engineered our Scotch-Brite™ SE Surface Conditioning Roll with extra durability to stand up to both extended wear and sharp edges. It offers consistent, high quality results for edge deburring applications on metals and composites. The roll form enables conversion or customization for unique applications.
Reinforced for Edge Deburring
Constructed of resin reinforced non woven fiber, our Scotch Brite™ SE Surface Conditioning Roll resists loading and minimizes under cutting or gouging of the work piece. We engineered this roll to exhibit high initial and extended rates of cut, while maintaining superior edge durability.
Fast Cut, Long Life
The Scotch Brite™ SE Surface Conditioning Roll is available in three grades of aluminum oxide abrasive: medium (MED), coarse (CRS), and fine (FIN). Aluminum oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its cut rate and long life. This mineral is a tough, durable abrasive that self fractures to expose fresh cutting edges in use, whereas traditional abrasives, such as garnet, quickly wear down with use.
The Scotch Brite™ Advantage
Non woven technology makes Scotch Brite™ industrial abrasives unique. A combination of fiber strands, resin, and abrasive mineral forms a thick, open web. The spring like nature of the fibers responds to contours and effectively removes unwanted burrs, soils and contaminants while maintaining the geometry of the workpiece, which in turn reduces rework and boosts productivity.
