3M™ Evaporation Boat Lasermet is a two-component boat with a specially designed lasered surface that improves initial wetting behavior, shortens the initial break-in, and allows for maximum aluminum pool. Additionally, its larger working surface increases the evaporation rate during metallization.
A Lasered Surface for Improved Performance
3M™ Evaporation Boat Lasermet features a patented lasered surface treatment that improves initial wetting for easy boat break-in, as well as allowing for the maximum aluminum pool throughout the life of the boat. Aluminum better wets this 2-component boat along the whole lasered surface due to its higher TiB2 content.
