Use 3M™ Lapping Film 468X as the standard film for silicon carbide related polishing applications in the fibre optic and metallurgical industries. 3M lapping film comprises of silicon carbide mineral coated on a 3 mil polyester film, PSA backed with a durable resin system. The tight particles give a consistent cut rate and finish.
