An Equipment Monitor that is designed for dynamic-air-removal sterilizers to test the efficacy of the vacuum system to remove air from the sterilizer chamber and detect leaks in the system

As an Equipment Monitor, the 3M™ Comply™ Bowie-Dick Plus Test Pack #00135LF is designed to monitor the performance of vacuum-assisted 132°C-134°C (270°F - 273°F) steam sterilizers each day. Test packs will reproducibly detect residual air in the sterilizer chamber due to air leaks, air removal failures and inadequate vacuum - any of which can compromise sterility. The #00135LF features an early warning sheet that detects potential issues before they appear on the test sheet. Complies to ANSI/AAMI/ISO 11140-5:2007 Class 2.

Suggested applications
  • A Bowie-Dick test should be run daily on each sterilizer. Should also be used to check sterilizer performance after a major repair
